Group: 91

SUBJECT:

Seat Control Unit Software Flash Unsuccessful

If you experience unsuccessful flash attempts on the seat control unit in the above model vehicles, this may be caused by flashing new software on old control units. Flashing new software onto old control units is not permissible and causes the flash to abort. If an attempt is made to flash the control units with new software, the control unit may get stuck in bootloader mode. If the control unit is stuck in bootloader mode, it cannot be reset and must be replaced.

NOTE:
- This issue will be resolved with the release of DVD version 11/08.
