GF46.15-P-3005Q Adjustment to Driving Position Function

GF46.15-P-3005Q Adjustment to driving position function
- with CODE (275c) Electronically adjustable driver seat, steering column and exterior mirrors with memory

Function prerequisites:
All triggering conditions are checked by the front seat adjustment control module with memory and easy entry, driver (N32/1). The function is only started if no under voltage or over voltage and no abort conditions exist. Automatic approach of the driving position is triggered by the status transitions:
^ No circuit -> circuit 15c (when driver door is closed),
^ Circuit 15c -> circuit 15R (when driver door is closed),
^ Circuit 15R -> circuit 15 (when driver door is closed),
^ Driver door open -> Driver door closed (with ignition key in circuit 15).

Function
After getting into the vehicle the driver seat and steering column are moved into the last driving position. The driving position last adjusted depends on the current storage block number and is controlled by the front seat adjustment control module with memory and easy entry, driver (N32/1).

The storage block number designates the data record which is stored key-related in the electronic ignition switch (N73).

Abort conditions
All abort conditions are monitored by the front seat adjustment control module with memory and easy entry, driver (N32/1). It is the case for all abort conditions that approaching the driving position is not reactivated. Only when the activation conditions are satisfied again is adjustment to the driving position reactivated. Approaching the driving position is aborted if the driver intervenes by operating the left door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S91/2).

Approaching the driving position is aborted by the front seat adjustment control module with memory and easy entry, driver (N32/1) when the following status changes of transmitter key position and door contact result which contradict the triggering conditions:
^ Circuit 15 -> circuit 15R
^ Circuit 15R -> circuit 15c
^ Circuit 15c -> no circuit
^ Driver door closed -> driver door open with circuit 15 "Off"

Repetition safeguard
The alternate insertion and removal of the transmitter key (A8/1) leads to an interplay between approaching the easy entry/exit position and the driving position (when door is open: steering column only; when door is closed: seat and steering column). The number of cycles is limited to 5 in order to prevent this. The counter is reset when:
^ the transmitter key (A8/1) is turned to circuit 15R or
^ the status of the driver's door changes.
