GF91.25-P-2013TX Dynamic Lateral Support On The Dynamic Seat, Function
- with CODE (433) Left dynamic seat including multicontour seat
- with CODE (434) Right dynamic seat including multicontour seat

Component Identification:

Function (described on left front seat)
The "dynamic lateral support" function is switched on or off by pressing the left front DYNAMIC switch. If the function is activated, this is displayed by an LED in the left front DYNAMIC switch. In the event of on-board electrical system emergency running mode the function is switched off and engages automatically again at the end of the emergency running mode. If important data (v-signal or lateral acceleration) for the DYNAMIC function fail for more than 2 s, the function is switched off and remains switched off. The DYNAMIC function is to combine the advantages of a comfortable seat with those of a sports seat. To do this, the lateral support is automatically adjusted accordingly using a basic pressure in the lateral support air cushions. On cornering, the lateral support is improved additionally by adding pressure for a short period of time in the lateral support air cushions on the outside of the curve.

This essentially happens as a function of the instantaneous speed and the lateral acceleration. Depending on the ground speed and lateral acceleration, these data are transmitted via the CAN interior, and the left front dynamic seat control unit (N32/19) actuates the valves of the lateral support air cushions. The air supply necessary to fill the seat cushions is ensured by the pneumatic pump for dynamic seat control (M40/1). The power and speed needed for filling the air cushions for driver and passenger seat can be adjusted via the second control level of the instrument cluster (A1).

dominant
The lateral support air cushions on the outside of the curve are filled faster and with more pressure.

smooth
The lateral support air cushions on the outside of the curve are filled slower and with less pressure.
