GF83.40-P-2006TX Regulation Of Comfort Automatic Air Conditioning, Function
- with CODE (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning
Component Identification:
Function
The comfort automatic air conditioning (C-AAC) [K-KLA] is regulated via the comfort AAC [KLA] control and operating unit. This is networked to the vehicle electronics. This in turn makes it possible to incorporate additional relevant parameters in order to improve regulation quality and to lower power consumption.
The following signals are read in by the comfort AAC [KLA] control and operating unit for the regulation:
Direct
^ Interior temperature in the knee area via the in-car temperature sensor
^ Temperature at the evaporator through the evaporator temperature sensor
Via CAN-B
^ Ground speed by the instrument cluster
^ Circuit status from the EIS [EZS] control unit
^ Sun intensity and the sunrays' angle of incidence via the sun sensor by the driver-side SAM control unit
^ Air humidity and concentration of pollutants in the ambient air via the multifunction sensor by the driver-side SAM control unit
^ Positions of the windows by the door control units
^ Interior temperature in the head area via the in-car temperature sensor by the overhead control panel
^ Position of tilting/sliding roof from overhead control panel control unit
^ Door status by the rear SAM control unit
^ Outside temperature via the outside temperature display temperature sensor by the driver-side SAM control unit
^ Refrigerant pressure and temperature from the refrigerant pressure and temperature sensor via the driver SAM control unit
or
refrigerant pressure from the refrigerant pressure sensor from the driver SAM control unit
Via LIN
^ Specified temperatures of the control panel rear switch group
To regulate the vehicle interior climate, the following components are actuated:
Via CAN-B
By the driver-side SAM control unit:
^ Refrigerant compressor
^ Coolant circulation pump
^ Heat exchanger shutoff motor
Via CAN-C
By the CDI control unit or the ME-SFI [ME] control unit:
^ Electric suction fan
Via LIN
^ Blower motor via the blower regulator
^ for air distribution the:
- fresh air/air recirculation flaps actuator motor
- left blend air flap actuator motor
- right blend air flap actuator motor
- left defroster vent flap actuator motor
- right defroster vent flap actuator motor
- left footwell flap actuator motor
- right footwell flap actuator motor
- left center air flap actuator motor
- right center air flap actuator motor
- left rear blend air flap actuator motor
- right rear blend air flap actuator motor
^ PTC heater booster
