1 Turn key in ignition switch to position 1.
2 Press system selection button (S110s3) repeatedly until multifunction display (A1p13) shows basic display (speedometer or temperature display).
3 Briefly press instrument illumination rheostat and reset button (A1r1) three times.
An audible signal is given and the voltage indicator appears in the multifunction display (A1p13).

4 Press right scroll forward/back button (S110s1).
The "Service" menu appears in the multifunction display (A1p13). The "Service Data" menu item is highlighted.







5 Press right system selection button (S110s3) to confirm.
The service data are displayed. The multi-digit workshop code (1) is highlighted.
6 Note workshop code (1).
The workshop code (1) is needed for dynamic maintenance (ASSYST PLUS) in the WIS.
7 Press left system selection button (S110s3) repeatedly until basic display (speedometer or temperature display) is shown in multifunction display (A1p13).
8 Turn key in ignition switch to position 0.
