Check And Adjustment Values For Rear Door:

Special Tool:









Check transition between crank window (1) and B-pillar cover (2)
1. Move crank window (1) to upper end position, then lower approx. 30 mm and close rear door. Check dimension "h" at height of waistline, adjust

2. Open rear door, loosen shaped corner (arrow) from sealing rail and loosen inner nut (3)
3. Correspondingly move front window guide rail on nut (3), tighten nut (3) with specified tightening torque and position shaped corner (arrow) of sealing rail.
4. Move crank window (1) to upper end position, then lower approx. 30 mm and close rear door. Check dimension "h" at height of waistline, adjust







Check whether crank window (1) makes contact with window seal
5. Open rear door, move crank window (1) to upper end position and move rear door to first lock catch. Then check whether crank window (1) makes contact with window seal all the way around, adjust if necessary.

The crank window (1) should make uniform contact with the window seal

6. Open rear door, remove covers (6) at bottom from rear door and remove cover over bolt (9)
7. Loosen nut (7) on front window guide rail, nut (8) of rear window guide rail as well as bolt (8) on window guide rail.
8. Correspondingly move front window guide rail on nut (7) from bottom, tighten nut (7) of front window guide rail with specified tightening torque.
9. Move rear door to first catch lock and check whether crank window (1) makes contact with window seal, repeat adjustment if necessary.

The crank window (1) should make uniform contact with the window seal

10. Open rear door and close again

The crank window (1) should move easily into the window seal, repeat adjustment if necessary

11. Open rear door, completely lower crank window (1) and tighten nut (8) of rear window guide rail as well as bolt (9) of window guide rail with specified tightening torque.

When the crank window is lowered (1) the rear window guide rail of the power window and the window guide rail are aligned with the position of the front window guide rail of the power window

12. Install covers (6) as well as bolt cover (9), move crank window (1) into upper end position and close rear door.
