GF80.20-P-3005TA Lock With Remote Control Key, Function
Component Identification:
When the button "Lock vehicle" is actuated, the transmitter key (A8/1) sends a signal to the corresponding receiver in the vehicle via radio and infrared signals. They receive the signal and relay it to the EIS control module (N73) via the CAN interior compartment. The EIS control module (N73) checks the access authorization of the transmitter key (A8/1). If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control module (N73) transmits the command "Locking" to the left front door control module (N69/1), right front (N69/2), left rear (N69/3), right rear (N69/4), rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and rear door control module (N111) via the passenger CAN interior compartment.
They activate the closing of the doors, the fuel filler flap and the rear door by actuating the right front door CL motor (M14/5), left front (M14/6), rear door (M14/7), left rear door (M14/8), right rear door (M14/9) and fuel filler flap (M14/10).
Moreover, the interior central locking switch and the ATA function display as well as the open/close trunk lid switch, driver (only with code 890) Automatic rear door) are deactivated.
Reception of the "Lock" signal is indicated by the turn signal lamps flashing three times
The acknowledgment is output via the left turn signal lamp (E1e5), right (E2e5), outer left (E3e1), outer right (E4e1) and left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5) and right (E6/6).
If, after locking, the transmitter key (A8/1) is inserted into the EIS control module (N73), the interior central locking and ATA function display switch and the open/close trunk lid switch, driver (only with code (890) Automatic rear door) are reactivated. The central locking is then in the same state as after locking via the interior central locking and ATA function display switch. However, the vehicle is only unlocked again by opening a door.
