The RTL control module (N121) actuates the electrically driven trunk lid automatically or manually depending on the control elements.

Purposes
^ Control of limited opening angle for trunk lid
^ Evaluation of trunk lid/tailgate opening angle recognition sensor (B24/16)
^ Overload protection for automatic opening and closing
^ Synchronization of end stops
^ Power locking of trunk lid lock
^ Switch and controls illumination for RTL button (S62/26)

Reading signals via passenger compartment CAN bus:
^ Opening via remote control key (A8/1)
^ Actuation request via driver-side trunk lid open/close switch (S15/3)
^ Open via trunk lid external operation switch (S88/8)
^ Function requirements

Read in signal lines
^ Lock via RTL button (S62/26), or with code (889) Keyless go, with trunk lid keyless go button (S62/21)
^ Power locking switch (S88/14)
^ Trunk lid/tailgate opening angle recognition sensor (B24/16)

Switch for loads (via internal relay)
^ Trunk lid drive motor (M15/2)
^ Trunk lid CL motor (M14/7), integrated in power locking switch (S88/14)
