Ventilation System, Function

GF83.10-P-2000T Ventilation System, Function

Air outlets in vehicle

Function
The ventilation system prevents windows from fogging up, supplies air to the occupants and ensures that uniform and pleasant temperatures are quickly reached in the interior.
Ventilation is provided with the aid of the blower motor (A32m1). Apart from this, when the ignition is switched off, the solar stationary ventilation (with code (419) Solar module for panoramic roof) provides air circulation in the vehicle.
Fresh air is drawn into the air conditioner housing via the air inlet in the engine hood and via the fresh air and air recirculation flap (fresh air position).

The blower motor is actuated via the blower regulator (A32n1) by the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (N22) (without code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning) or Comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7) (with code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning)

Depending on the setting selected, the aspirated air is routed through the air conditioner housing and the air ducts to the air outlets in the interior.
In the air recirculation mode, air is drawn out of the vehicle interior through the fresh air and air recirculation flap (recirculated air position) and blown into the air conditioner housing.
