Child protection function
With the rear side window child safety lock switch (S20/1s5) located in the driver power widow switch group (S20/1) it is possible to disable the function of the left rear power window switch (S21/3) and right rear power window switch (S21/4) (child protection) located in the rear doors.
When the safety switch is actuated, no actions are accomplished when the left rear power window switch (S21/3 and right rear power window switch (S21/4) are pressed. Actuations already active and triggered by the left rear power window switch (S21/3) or right rear power window switch (S21/4) are interrupted immediately.
Actuations which were or are activated by the driver power window switch group (S20/1) are not affected by activation of the child safety lock.
