- with CODE (813) Voice control sytem (VCS)

Reading the telephone book
After the command "listen to telephone book" the voice control system (VCS) reads the names that are stored in the address book via a sequence number and a telephone number. If the select button is operated while the name is being read aloud, then the name is selected and the system asks, whether the private, business or mobile CTEL number is to be dialed.

Listening to the address book
After the command "listen to address book" the VCS reads the names that are stored in the address book via a sequence number. If the select button is operated while the name is being read aloud, then the name is selected and the appropriate entry is shown so that it can be used.

Deleting the address book
The command "delete address book" makes it possible to delete all or individual sequence numbers of the address book entries. Only one sequence number is deleted, the other data in the entry are sustained.

Dialing a name
With the aid of this command telephone numbers can be selected from the address book by entering the particular sequence number via voice input. The entry is speaker-related and can only be requested reliably again by the person who saved the entry.

Deleting a name
With the aid of the command "delete name" sequence numbers can be deleted from the address book. In doing so, there is a distinction whether the entry was created via voice input or whether the entry was created in writing. The entire entry i deleted, if the entry was created via voice operation and was not edited. Otherwise, only one sequence number is deleted, the other data in the entry are sustained.

Navigating the sequence number (Voicetag)
If only address-specific navigation data (Geocode) for one sequence number are stored in the address book, then this data is used to start the navigation. Otherwise, the system asks whether the business or the private address should be dialed. It is also possible, though, to select the "sequence number" directly and differentiate between business and private.

Selecting a sequence number (Voicetag)
If only one number is stored in the address book, then this number is dialed promptly. Otherwise, the system asks whether the business, mobile CTEL or private number should be dialed. It is also possible, though, to enter the sequence number for the business, mobile CTEL or private phone number directly.

Deleting a sequence number (Voicetag)
With the aid of this command sequence numbers can be deleted from the address book. In doing so, there is a distinction whether the entry was created via voice input or whether the entry was created in writing. The entire entry is deleted, if the entry was created via voice operation and was not edited. Otherwise, only one sequence number is deleted, the other data in the entry are sustained.

Displaying and processing an entry
An entry that has already been allocated a sequence number can be displayed via voice input on the display of the COMAND. Entries for which no sequence number has been spoken yet can be selected via voice command through spelling. The spelling function can also be activated by operating the appropriate control button (Softkey) in the address book basic menu in the COMAND operation panel.
The user can now select an entry from the numbered name list "Pick list" (the recognized results that were entered into the address book) either by typing the number of the desired entry on the telephone keypad or speaking the number of the desired entry.

Example:
"Use 1" or "accept 1" accepts the first alternative, number 2 accepts the second alternative.
With "forward" it is possible to scroll forward to the next page. With "back" it is possible to return to the previous page. With "correct" it is possible to exit the current Pick list.
The opened entry can then be edited or used via voice command. To do this, the voice recognition has to be restarted by using the VCS switch (S93/2).

Store name
Once an entry has been opened, a sequence number can be allocated to this entry with the "save name" command.

Store number
Once an entry has been opened, a phone number can be saved for this entry with the "save number" command.

Dial
If only one number is saved in the entry, then it is dialed promptly, otherwise the system asks which numbers should be dialed. However, it is also possible to specify the desired number right away by also adding the word "select" "private", "mobile CTEL" or "business".

Delete number
If only one number is stored in the address book, then it is deleted by using the "delete number" command, otherwise the system asks which number should be deleted

Listening to names
By using the "listening to names" command it is possible to listen to the sequence number that was allocated to this card for the opened entry.

Delete name
By using the "deleting name" command it is possible to delete the sequence number that was allocated to the opened entry.

Navigating
The Geocode that is recorded in the address book can be transmitted to the navigation system. If only one Geocode is stored navigation is started. Otherwise, the systems asks whether it should guide the user to the business or private address. It is also possible, though to directly enter "navigation business" or "navigation, private". If no valid Geocode is stored then the system issues an acoustic response.

Address book help
The VCS reads the help text for the address book. The help text depends on the which help is requested:
^ Outside of the address book
^ Address book opened, name list displayed
^ Entry opened
