GF80.20-P-3004T Unlock By Opening A Door, Function

As a matter of principle, all doors can be opened from the inside even when the vehicle has previously been locked with the interior locking switch and ATA function display (N72/1s6) or the automatic locking feature.
When the driver or passenger is opened from the inside the vehicle is unlocked completely or partially in the following cases, see below:

Open driver or front passenger door:
When the vehicle was previously unlocked globally the vehicle is unlocked centrally when one or both front doors are opened, when the vehicle was previously locked with the interior central locking switch and ATA function display (N72/1s6) or with the "automatic locking" feature

Central unlocking is accomplished only below a speed of 15 km/h

If previously unlocked "selectively" the central locking is not unlocked, however, only the corresponding door is unlocked mechanically.

Open rear doors/tailgate:
This does not result in central unlocking, only the door in question is unlocked mechanically regardless of whether selective or global unlocking.
