GF91.30-P-2006T Stop Ventilation Mode Function
- with CODE (401) Front luxury seat, including heated seat and seat ventilation
Function
Switching off with switch (instruction at driver-side seat ventilation)
The seat ventilation can be switched off by pressing the left front seat ventilation switch (N72/1s13).
Actuation of the left front seat ventilation switch (N72/1s13) is read in by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1) and forwarded via CAN interior to the HS and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7). The HS and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7) switches off the left front seat cushion ventilation motor group (M18/9) and the left front backrest ventilation motor group (M18/10) by reducing the control voltage at the left front seat ventilation blower regulator (N29/5) to below 1 Volt.
At the same time the function LEDs go off.
Operation and function indicators of the seat ventilation are summarized in the table given below.
Switching off the seat ventilation (abortion requirements)
All abortion requirements are monitored by the HS and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7). If one of the following three criteria occurs, the seat ventilation is switched off. The criteria are listed in the order of decreasing priority. If the seat ventilation is already switched off as a result of a criterion of lower priority and an abortion criterion of higher priority occurs, the system proceeds as described for the criterion with the higher priority.
^ Switching off in the event of undervoltage
The battery control unit (N82) globally monitors the undervoltage shutoff for all control units and consumers. When the emergency operation message of the battery control unit (N82) reaches the HS and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7), the heated seats (load only) are switched off. The same applies when the undervoltage switch-off threshold has been reached.
If the system recognizes undervoltage, the corresponding LED s in the upper control panel and in the rear switch flash on and off with a
frequency of 1.5 Hz and an illumination time of 50 %. The timer control continues to run if the heated seats are switched off due to undervoltage.
^ Switching off in the event of overvoltage
When the overvoltage threshold is exceeded, the heated seats (load only) are switched off.
