Task
The fresh air system emergency control unit controls the fresh air emergency system.
^ Evaluation of percentage of irritant gas in outside air
^ Request for recirculated air function
^ Close exhaust air flaps in trunk
^ Monitoring and actuating compressed air bottle
^ Activation/deactivation of automatic monitoring
The following components are read in directly:
^ Fresh air sensor (B30)
^ Activate button for fresh air emergency system/fire extinguishing system (S62/41)
^ Fresh air system emergency activate button (S62/40)
^ Oxygen cylinder pressure sensor (B65/2)
The following components are actuated:
^ LED in fresh air emergency system/fire extinguishing system activate button
^ Fresh air system emergency warning buzzer (H13/1)
^ Left exhaust air flap motor (M90/1) via left exhaust air flap motor polarity-reversing relay (K106)
^ Right exhaust air flap motor (M90/2) via right exhaust air flap motor polarity-reversing relay (K106/1)
^ Fresh air system emergency pressure medium reservoir solenoid valve (Y128)
Request via interior CAN
The fresh air system emergency control unit sends the following request to the interior CAN via the special vehicle multifunction control unit (N26/14):
^ Recirculated air and blower switch-off to AAC control unit (N22).
The AAC control unit switches off the blower motor for (A32m1) approx. 5 s and switches the fresh air/air recirculation flaps to recirculated air. M2/5 If the fresh air/air recirculation flaps are set to recirculated air, the blower motor is switched to the blower stage last set.
