1. Open cover (1) on center console.

2. Switch on ignition.

Provided the lamps in the activate button for emergency fresh air system/fire extinguishing system (S62/41) and activate button for emergency fresh air system (S62/40) light up for approx. 3 seconds and then go out, the emergency fresh air system is ready to operate.
A fault exists if a warning buzzer sounds or the lamps in the activation/activate button (S62/41, S62/40) continue to light up.

3. Switch off ignition.
4. Close cover (1).
