GF83.50-P-2040SX Residual Engine Heat Utilization Of The Rear Air Conditioning, Function
- with CODE (582) Rear air conditioner
Function
The residual engine heat utilization feature makes it possible to continue to heat or simply ventilate the vehicle with c. 15 Off or c. 15C. The function is switched on by pressing any button on the rear air conditioning control unit (N22/4). The system utilizes the residual heat from the engine and leads it into the rear interior compartment via the rear blower motor (M2/1).
The circulation pump (A31/1m1) integrated into the rear auxiliary heating system supply unit (A31/1) pumps the coolant that is still warm through the rear air conditioning heater heat exchange The actuation of the circulation pump, the blower motor and the rear auxiliary heating system supply unit takes place via the AAC [KLA] control unit (N22/1).
If the residual engine heat utilization of the rear air conditioning is active, it is not possible to manually select the temperature or the blower output, since the system operates with fixed values.

- the on-board electrical system voltage is low
- the right air distribution button on the rear AC control unit is pressed
