Function
The starter lockout contact is operated in gear selector switch positions "P" and "N". This moves the permanent magnet away from the reed contact. The dry-reed contact is opened. The ETC control unit (N15/3) receives an electrical signal. The circuit to the starter is closed in gear selector switch positions "P" and "N".
