GF27.19-P-5160GA Solenoid Valve, Component Description

GF27.19-P-5160GA Solenoid valve, component description
- Transmission 722.6

Component Identification:

Location
The shift solenoid valves are located on the supporting body of the electric control unit and in each case are pressed against the shift plate by a leaf spring.

Task
The shift solenoid valves introduce the sequence of upshifts and downshifts in the shift plate.

Component Identification:

Design
In each case the shift solenoid valves are sealed by 2 O-rings towards the shift plate valve body.

The contact springs in the shift solenoid valves engage in a slot in the conductor tracks.

Reliable contacting is guaranteed by the spring force of the contact springs.

Component Identification:

Function
If a shift solenoid valve is actuated via the ETC [EGS] control unit (N15/3), it opens and leads the shift valve pressure to the assigned command valve.

The respective shift solenoid valve remains actuated and thus opened until the shift operation is completed. The shift valve pressure to the command valve is reduced to zero as soon as the respective shift solenoid valve is switched de-energized.
