Operating procedure
The driver or passenger outside mirror can be selected for adjustment with the left or right outside mirror adjustment switch (N72s8)

The left electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) and right (M21/2) can be adjusted manually on the upper control panel control module (N72) with outside mirror adjustment switch (N72s7)

With the memory function the following settings can be stored in each of the 3 memory locations with the left seat adjustment switch group (S91/2) for each transmitter key:
^ The seat and backrest positions of the driver's seat
^ The steering wheel position
^ The position of the inside rearview mirror (A67)
^ The position of the right electrically adjustable and headed outside mirror (M21/2) and left (M21/1)

The inside rearview mirror (A67) and the left electrically adjustable and headed outside mirror (M21/1) is dimmed automatically via the automatic dimming outside and inside rearview mirror function

The left electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) and right (M21/2) are heated automatically at low temperatures with the left/right heated outside mirror function

In order to allow better observation of the distance to the edge of the curb when parking backwards, the right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) is automatically moved to the park position.

On vehicles with code (500b) left/right folding outside mirror, the left electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) and right (M21/2) are folded down automatically (garage position) and are folded back out when the vehicle is opened (driving position).
