Remove/Install Oil Pump

DANGER:
- Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

1 Remove oil pan bottom section (1)
2 Remove top part of oil pan (2)
3 Unscrew bolts M5X10 (3) and bolt M8X30 (4)
4 Remove oil pump (5)

CAUTION: Installation:
- Ensure oil return flow check valve (6) is correctly installed.
- Clean strainer of oil pump.
- Fill oil pump (5) with engine oil before installing so that it pumps oil when first started.

NOTE: On Engine 113.990/991/992 pay attention to version of oil pump when exchanging.

5 Install in the reverse order.
