AR83.25-P-1140R Remove/Install Shut-Off Motor For Heat Exchanger
DANGER:
- Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.
- Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 degrees C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.
1.1 Switch off ignition, remove key from electronic ignition switch EIS
1.2 Switch off engine, remove Keyless Go card from vehicle
NOTE: For CODE (889) Keyless Go Keep Keyless Go card out of reach of transmitter range.
2 Relieve pressure in the coolant circuit
NOTE: Do this by turning cap on expansion reservoir to notch "1"
3 Drain coolant
4 Remove wiper system
5 Remove air inlet
6 Remove coolant hoses (heater) from hose clamp (2)
7 Detach coolant hoses (heater) on shut-off motor (M16/32)
NOTE: Installation: Check coolant hoses and clamps for signs of damage, Replace parts if necessary.
8 Disconnect electrical connector (1) and remove shut-off motor (M16/32)
9 Install in the reverse order
10 Check shut-off motor for proper operation.
