Component Identification:

Location
The coolant circulation pump is located in the engine compartment next to the coolant reservoir.

Task
The coolant circulation pump is used for:
^ support with the engine running or
^ with the residual engine heat utilization system switched on (not USA )
for pumping coolant through the heater heat exchanger.

Function
The coolant circulation pump is actuated by the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1), when requested by the automatic air conditioning control and operating unit (N22/7).
