US Service 1 - Every 10,000 Miles or 1 Year



US Service 1/A
First at 10,000 mi or 1 year; after first every 20,000 mi or 2 years

Engine Compartment
- Check catch, safety catch and hinges of engine hood for proper operation. (SLK-Class, S-Class, CL-Class, CLS-Class)
- Main or starter battery, check and correct fluid level (SLK-Class, S-Class, CL-Class)
- Check main or starter battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester. (SLK-Class, S-Class, CL-Class, C-Class)

Check the following fluid levels, correct if necessary
If there is a loss of fluid, determine cause and perform repair with separate work order.
- Brake system
- Windshield washer system
- Engine cooling system, antifreeze and corrosion protection (Engine 275 main circuit)

Trunk
- Check main battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester. (CLS-Class)
- Check auxiliary battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester. (S-Class, CL-Class)
- Check trunk lighting
- Check inflation pressure in spare tire. (S-Class, CL-Class, C-Class)

Vehicle Front/Rear
- Check wiper blade condition

Interior
- Reset service indicator in instrument cluster
- Night View Assist camera - Cleam windshield behind the camera cover (S-Class, CL-Class)

Function check
- Horn, warning/indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting
- Windshield wipers, windshield washer system, headlamp cleaning system

Wheels, brakes
- Inspect tires for damage and splits, measure tread depth
- Check thickness of brake pads, front and rear.
- Correct tire inflation pressure
