The left switch group and right switch group are located in the respective door panels.

Design of left switch group
The following switches are located in the left switch group:
^ head restraint adjustment switch (S22s1)
^ seat cushion fore/aft switch (S22s2)
^ fore/aft, height and inclination adjustment switch (S22s3)
^ backrest switch (S22s5)

With code (401) Front deluxe seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation:
^ seat ventilation switch (S22s11)

On model 221 with code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors) or on model 216:
^ Memory switch (S22s6)
^ Memory 1 switch (S22s7)
^ Memory 2 switch (S22s8)
^ Memory 3 switch (S22s9)
^ left or right seat adjustment selection switch (S22s10) (left-hand drive vehicle only)

Function
When the switch group is actuated, the adjustment requests are transmitted via the front door LIN to the
^ left front door control unit (N69/1) (on model 221) or left door control unit (N69/1) (on model 216) or
^ right front door control unit (N69/2) (on model 221) or right door control unit (N69/2) (on model 216) and forwarded to the interior CAN.
