GF82.70-P-3002QM Station List, Function
- with CODE (813) Voice control sytem (VCS)
- Selection of and dialogue with audio components

Function requirements:
^ The radio (A2) is activated.
^ The radio and navigation unit (A2/56), with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio is activated.
^ The COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3) with code (527) COMAND APS (with navigation) or with code (530) COMAND APS USA (with navigation) is activated.

The voice control system (VCS) enables the user to draw up a station list. Stations selected frequently can be stored here together with freely selectable names or the proper station name. 10 entries can be stored.
To draw up or expand the personal station list when the audio system is activated the user must say the voice command "Store station" after activating the VCS via the VCS [SBS] switch (S93/2).

Once the voice command is issued the user is requested by the VCS to enter a station name by the feedback "Please say the the name".
If this is entered by the user, then the VCS requests the user to enter the station name again as confirmation. If during the 2nd input (confirmation) of the station name another station name is entered, then the VCS voice output " Pardon?" follows. If the user then enters the station name spoken first, then the VCS requests the user to repeat the station name again. The VCS stores the station list entry (name of station and associated transmitter) in the station list only if the associated station name and its repeat are identical.
The VCS voice output reports "The station is stored".

Calling up station list entries
The user of the VCS has the option of having the whole station list read aloud via the voice command "Listen to the station list". In doing so, the user can select a certain station name in order to set a new station. Selection is accomplished by actuating the VCS switch (S93/2).

Selecting station from station list
The user has the option of selecting a station from the station list via the voice command "Select station". Once the voice command is issued the user is requested by the VCS to enter a station name: "Please say the station name". If the user specifies the station name which he has previously specified when storing the station, a change is made to the desired station by the VCS after the station name is repeated.

Deleting individual entries from the station list
After activating the VCS with the VCS [SBS] switch (S93/2) the user has the option of deleting an individual entry from the station list with the voice command "Delete station". The VCS requests that the station names to be deleted be specified. Once the station name is entered by the user the latter is asked whether the station name selected should really be deleted. If the user answers with the voice command "Yes", then the specified station name is deleted from the station list with the dialogue "The station is deleted". If the user answers with the voice command "No" or looses too much time, the deletion process is terminated and the station name is retained. Every other voice command spoken by the user ends the dialogue with the VCS.

Delete complete list of stations
After activating the VCS with the VCS [SBS] switch (S93/2) the user has the option to delete all the entries from station list with the voice command "Delete station list". In response to the voice command the VCS voice output confirms whether the station list should actually be deleted.

If the user answers with the voice command "Yes", the voice output "Are you sure?" is issued. If the user answers this with the voice command "Yes", then the entire station list entries are deleted. If he answers with the voice command "No", the VCS starts to read aloud the station list entries. While the station list is being read aloud, the user can select a station to be deleted by pressing the VCS [SBS] switch (S93/2) towards the driver. The selected station is then repeated by the VCS. The user is then asked, if he/she really wants to delete the selected station.

If the user answers with the voice command "Yes", then the specified station is deleted from the station list. If he answers with the voice command "No", the VCS continues to read aloud the station list entries. Every other voice command ends the dialogue with the VCS. The user can break off the dialogue at any time by deactivating the VCS via the VCS [SBS] switch (S93/2) by pressing it away from the driver.
