A - Service
First A service at 13,000 miles or 1 year, then every 26,000 miles or 2 years

Interior
- Reset maintenance counter in instrument cluster.
- Function Check:
Audible warning system. (SL-Class)
Check Electro-hydraulic brake system hydraulic unit. (SL-Class)
Warning/indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting.
Windshield wiper, windshield washer system, headlamp cleaning system.
Horn, high beam flasher, hazard warning flashers, turn signals.

Wheels, Brakes
- Check thickness of brake pads, front and rear
- Check tires for damage and condition.
- Correct tire inflation pressure.

Vehicle Front/Rear
- Check wiper blade condition.

Engine Compartment
- Engine oil and filter change.
- Check catch, safety catch and hinges of engine hood for proper operation.

- Check the following fluid levels, correct if necessary
- If there is a loss of fluid, determine cause and perform repair with separate work order.
Windshield washer system.
Brake system.
Battery, check and correct fluid level.
Check condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester.

Trunk
- Correct tire inflation pressure in spare tire. (CLK-Class)
- Battery, check condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester. (SL-Class)
- Check trunk lighting.
