GF91.16-P-0001QA Retractable Rear Head Restraints (RHR), Function
In order to increase safety for the rear occupants, it is possible to pull out the rear head restraints upwards by hand.
Under the head restraints are located the roll bars which raise in an accident or critical driving situation.
For lowering, an electric motor is integrated in the roll bar unit.
Basic requirements:
^ Terminal 15R ON
The rear head restraints can be lowered with the aid of the rear head restraints switch (N72/1s4) in the upper control panel control module (N72/1).
If the head restraints have reached the lower point, this is registered by the bottom left head restraint limit switch (S52/8) and Bottom right head restraint limit switch (S52/9).
If the rear head restraints are pulled out, they are lowered automatically when the soft top is operated.
If a head restraint has not been moved down to the full extent, the soft top cannot be operated electrically.
