GF80.20-P-3005Q Locking With Transmitter Key, Function

Component Identification:

Function requirements:
^ Doors and trunk lid closed

Function
When the "Lock" button of the transmitter key (A8/1) is pressed, it transmits a signal to the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) or window antenna amplifier module 1 (A2/71) via radio. This signal i relayed via the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) to the EIS control unit (N73).
Parallel to the radio signal an infrared signal is transmitted to the left front IR receiver(A26/1) or right front IR receiver (A26/2) (precise aiming required). This signal is read in by the left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2) and is transmitted to the EIS control module (N73) via the CAN-B bus (CAN-B).

The EIS control unit (N73) checks the access authorization of the transmitter key (A8/1). If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control module (N73) transmits the "Locking" command to the CAN-B bus (CAN-B).
The left door control unit (N69/1) actuates the left door CL motor (M14/6), the right door control unit (N69/2) actuates the right door CL motor (M14/5) and the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) the fuel filler flap CL motor (M14/10). The opening request of the exterior actuation trunk lid switch (S88/8) is disabled in the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2)

Visual feedback
When the doors are closed and locked and the trunk lid is closed the
^ left turn signal lamp (E1e5) and
^ Right turn signal lamp (E2e5)
are actuated by the front SAM control module with fuse and relay module, the
^ left turn signal lamp (E3e1) and
^ Right turn signal lamp (E4e1)
by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2), the
^ left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5), left door control unit (N69/1) and
^ right outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/6) of the right door control unit (N69/2)
three times each The control is accomplished by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) (Blinkmaster).

The interior central locking switch (up to 31.5.04) or unlock CL interior switch (as of 1.6.04) and lock CL interior switch (as of 1.6.04) and the trunk lid open switch are disabled.

If the transmitter key (A8/1) is inserted into the EIS control unit (N73) after the vehicle is locked, they are again activated. However, the vehicle is only unlocked again by opening a door.
