GF82.62-P-3105-04TJ Antenna Amplifier Module, Function

GF82.62-P-3105-04TJ Antenna Amplifier Module, Function
- with CODE (529) HIGH Class Japan

Filtering and amplifying radio frequency signals
Electrical filters of the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) and the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) select the desired frequency bands (AM, FM, TV, etc.) from the high frequency signals that are coming from by the rear window antennas. Depending on the country (e.g.United States Of America, Japan), these filters are designed differently, as the transmission frequencies depend on the country. The filtered frequency bands are then amplified selectively and routed to the corresponding control modules via data lines.

Demodulation of RCL signals
The signals for the radio remote-controlled central locking are demodulated and digitized by the left amplifier module (A2/64). The edited data is transferred to the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73) via a separate data line and from there relayed to the interior CAN (CAN-B).

During demodulation, the useful signal (e.g. the RRCL signal) is separated from the high-frequency carrier frequency (transmitter frequency).

Equipment
The left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) is the receiver for AM/ FM and RRCL (radio remote central locking). In vehicles with FM diversity the AM amplifier with diversity unit is installed in the same housing as the radio remote central locking receiver. The assembly is supplemented by a remote 2-compartment FM-amplifier, the window antenna amplifier module 1 (A2/71 TV reception is implemented via the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) in conjunction with window antenna amplifier module 2 (A2/72).
To rule out overlay of the radio and TV frequency ranges, the components belonging to the corresponding system are installed diagonally.
