Wiper Motor Linkage: Service and Repair

AR82.30-P-7600T Remove/Install Wiper Linkage







1 Remove wiper system (1)
2 Detach wiper arms (2) from the motor crank (3)
3 Unscrew bolts (5)
4 Remove wiper motor (M6/1) from wiper linkage (6)

DANGER:
- Risk of explosion from hydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury to eyes and skin suffering caustic burns from battery electrolyte or from contact with damaged lead acid batteries.
- No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
- Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

5 Move wiper motor (M6/1) to parking position
6 Join wiper motor (M6/1) to wiper linkage (6) and screw in bolts (5)
Screw on wiper motor attachment: 9 N.m

7 Attach wiper arms (2) to the motor crank (3)
8 Install wiper system (1)
