GF82.70-P-2001T Terminating/Ending Call, Function
- with CODE (813) Voice control system (VCS)
Component Identification:
Function cancellation
If the VCS switch (S93/2) is pushed away from the driver during a phone call, then the voice recognition of the voice control system is deactivated and the existing connection is terminated. The voice recognition is located in the voice control system control unit (A35/11).
This is possible at any point during the call. If the subscriber is in the entry mode, he/she can exit the voice recognition and deactivate the system via the hands-free system by using the "End" voice command. This is possible at any point during the input mode.
Ending call
The phone call is terminated via the accept/terminate phone call button (S111s3) in the multifunction steering wheel.
If the user neglects to press the buttons after ending a call (the other party has already hung up), then the call is regarded as ongoing by the voice control system (VCS).
An incoming call then cannot be detected by the voice control system (VCS), which in turn means that a connection cannot be established.
