The fuel tank pressure sensor is located above in the rear part of the fuel tank.







The fuel tank pressure sensor is located in closing plate of left fuel tank chamber.







The fuel tank pressure sensor is located above in the aeration and venting line of the fuel tank.

Task
The fuel tank pressure sensor detects the pressure inside the fuel tank for testing the leaks in the fuel system (leak test).

Function
The measuring range of the fuel tank pressure sensor extends from approx. -50 mbar to approx. +30 mbar.

The fuel tank pressure sensor detects the internal pressure of the fuel tank and sends an appropriate voltage signal (for -50 mbar about 0.5 V; for 0 mbar about 3 V; for +30 mbar about 4.5 V) to the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).

The voltage supply of 5 V is performed by the ME-SFI [ME] control unit.
