Adjustment possibilities of the exhaust emissions inspection date







The driver can read out the due date of the main inspection (HU) and the exhaust emissions inspection (AU) at any time. If required, the new due date can be entered after a main inspection or an exhaust emissions inspection has been performed.

Customer level







The Active Service System PLUS (ASSYST PLUS) is divided into two different levels. On the one hand, the customer level is available to the customer, providing him/her information on service that is due. On the other hand, the service level is available to the service staff, which provides information both on the service scope and date as well as on further special work.

Workshop level







They can also be read out on the workshop level using the workshop code, which encodes all of the service work, and entered into the Workshop Information System (WIS). The workshop code can be re- coded into a maintenance schedule in the WIS.

Sometimes, the menu item "Oil measurement" can be available depending on the engine version. The only decisive factor for this is the oil level measurement method.

Message before service is due







The service date is calculated by the ASSYST PLUS, which is accommodated in the central gateway control unit (N93). The service data are administered by the ASSYST PLUS and transmitted to the instrument cluster (A1) via the central CAN.

Message after service is due







The service that is due continues to be administered when the calculated due date is exceeded and displayed in the multifunction display (A1p13).
