AZ82.20-P-0001-02RR Connect Wiring Harness

Component Identification:

1 Route supply line (3) with fuse holder (10) on vehicle's own wiring harness to rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module and contact fuse holder (10) with slot no. 57.

The fuse holder (10) and slot are color-coded.







2 Route branch-off lines of wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding (2) to the right and left sides.

The longer branch-off line is routed to the left side.

3 Remove left door contact switch.
4 Remove vehicle's own line connector (11) from door contact switch and guide vehicle's own line inwards out of the opening.
5 Contact door contact plug (5) of the wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding (2) with the connector of the vehicle's own wiring harness.
6 Contact line branch-off line for the door contact connector with the door contact switch.







7 Guide the wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding (2) with illuminated door sill molding connector (8) through under the crossmember and route under the floor covering to the right door cutout.







8 Connect 8-pin connector (9) from wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding (2) to converter (7).

Wrap converter (7) with felt tape and fix vehicle's own wiring harness in place with cable ties.







9 Route wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding (2) with illuminated door sill molding connector (8) on the left side. Guide illuminated door sill molding connector (8) through under the crossmember and route under the floor covering to the left door cutout.
10 Connect 8-pin connector (9) from wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding (2) to converter (7).
11 Wrap converter (7) with felt tape and fix in place on vehicle's own wiring harness with cable ties.

The wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding (2) is contacted at the left door contact switch analog to the right side.







12 Fix line branch-off line with jack (4) of illuminated door sill molding (1) in place on the molding using adhesive tape.
13 Contact illuminated door sill molding connector (8) with jack (4) of illuminated door sill molding (1).
14 Fold down floor covering on right and left.
