The cell phone separation point and adapter cable are located in the armrest's stowage compartment in the center console.

Task
- Interface between mobile phone and communication control unit (N123/6)

In addition, the cell phone separation point and the adapter cable have the following tasks:

- Control signals via communication control unit from following components:
- Telephone buttons or keypad on COMAND operating, display and controller unit
- Left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110) and right multifunction steering wheel button group (S111)

- Mobile phone signals and data from mobile phone
- Voice signals from mobile phone
