GF80.20-P-3011R Locking/unlocking Trunk Lid With Mechanical Key, Function

The mechanical key is used to turn the lock cylinder in the trunk lock. In the 0° position (1), the lock is unlocked manually. Provided the vehicle is not locked centrally, the trunk lid can be opened manually.
By turning the key approx. 30° to the left (2) and holding the lock cylinder in place, the trunk lid lock can be opened manually trunk lid external operation switch (S88/8) using the even when the vehicle is centrally locked. The key cannot be withdrawn in this position.
The lock cylinder is moved into the 90° position (3) by turning the key to the right. The key can be withdrawn in this position. The trunk lid lock is locked manually. It cannot be opened either manually with the remote control key (A8/1) remote trunk release nor with the switch (S15) (porter function).
