If the trunk lid keyless go button (S62/21) is pressed, the keyless go control module (N69/5) causes the remote control key (A8/1) to transmit its authorization code via radio.
This authorization is received by the windshield antenna and relayed to the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) to the overhead control panel control module (N70).

The EIS control module (N73) checks the authorization of the remote control key (A8/1) and transmits the signal for "locking" to the PSE control module (combined) (A37) as CAN message. The pneumatic control module with combined functions (A37) locks the vehicle.
