Message in Instrument Cluster (IC) "Tire pressure monitor - Visit workshop"
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of an error message in the instrument cluster (IC), "Tire pressure monitor - Visit workshop", the cause may be a software error in the TPM (Tire Pressure control Module). Increased background noise from the receiver can lead to reception problems in certain temperature ranges. If the following fault codes (TPM control unit) are current or stored, replace the TPM [RDK] control module to resolve. Refer to WIS document AR40.15-P-0100M (215/220) or AR40.15-P- 0100R (230).
- B1006 / code 9011 (activation of TPM [RDK] control unit (N88) not possible)
- B1344, B1345, B1346, B1347 or B1349 / code 9211, 9221, 9231, 9241 or 9261 (signal transmission between all or at least one A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4 TPM wheel sensor and N88 is defective)
