GF27.19-P-1112ACW Component Description For the RPM Sensor

GF27.19-P-1112ACW Component description for the rpm sensor
- Transmission 722.618/640/646/695/699

Component Identification:

Location
RPM sensors 2 and 3 are permanently connected via contact blades to the supporting body of the automatic transmission electric controller unit.

Task
The signals of RPM sensors 2 3 are recorded together with the wheel speeds and engine speeds as well as other information in the electronic transmission-control control unit (N15/3) and are input signals for the electronic transmission control.

Component Identification:

Function
The RPM sensors 2 and 3 are pressed against the transmission housing (51) by a spring which is held against the valve housing of the shift plate (2a). This in turn provides defined gaps between rpm sensors 2 and 3 and the relevant pulse rings (50).

RPM sensor 2 assumes the speed of the front sun gear through the external plate carrier of the multidisk clutch K1 (24b). RPM sensor 3 assumes the speed of the front planetary carrier through the internal plate carrier of the multidisk clutch K1 (24c).
