Function
The starter lock-out contact is actuated in selector lever positions "P and N. This moves the permanent magnet (47) away from the dry-reed contact (48). The dry-reed contact (48) is opened. The electronic transmission-control control unit (N15/3) receives an electrical signal. The circuit to the starter (M1) is closed in selector lever positions "P" and N.
