The following operation steps are shown on the right side of the vehicle and can be accomplished analogously on the left side of the vehicle.






1 Route wiring harness (9) from backrest to front passenger seat connector block.
The wiring harness (9) is only placed in the seat and is fastened at a later point.






2 Route wiring harness (6) from previously created opening in backrest to upper cross strut (22).
3 Connect white 8-pin plug (6.1) of wiring harness (6) to white 8- pin connector (9.1) of wiring harness (9) and fasten with cable ties to upper cross strut (22).
4 Strap down excess lengths of line from wiring harness (6) and wiring harness (9) and fasten wiring harness (9) and wiring harness (6) at seat frame using cable ties.
Fix the wiring harness (9) in place at the seat such that adjustment of the seat is possible without limitation. Otherwise shearing off or crushing of the wiring harness (9) may occur.






5 Loosen and disconnect front passenger seat connector block (X55/4).
6 Connect black 2-pin connector (24) and black 2-pin connector (25) of wiring harness (9) to disconnected front passenger seat connector block (X55/4).
The black 2-pin connector (24) and the black 2-pin connector (25) are coded and cannot be swapped.






7 Connect assembled connectors and fuse carrier at the carrier (33).
The fuse rating is 5 A.

8 Fix wiring harness in place with cable ties.
Fix the wiring harness in place at the seat such that adjustment of the seat is possible without limitation. Otherwise shearing off or crushing of the wiring harness may occur.
