Location
B4/3 Fuel tank pressure sensor
The pressure sensor is located above, in the middle on the fuel tank.
Task
The pressure sensor detects the pressure inside the fuel tank for leak testing on the regeneration system (leak test).
Function
The pressure sensor detects the internal pressure of the fuel tank and issues a corresponding voltage signal to the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).
The voltage supply of 5 V is performed by the ME-SFI [ME] control unit.
The measuring range extends from approx. -50 mbar to approx. +30 mbar.
