1 Turn the key in the ignition lock into position "1".
The standard display (kilometer counter) must appear in the multifunction display (A1p13), if necessary press the scroll forward button repeatedlyS110s1.

Component Identification:

2 Press the system selection button (S110s3) repeatedly until the menu item trip with high-lighter is stored in the multifunction display (A1p13).
"Trip" remains selected for apron. 5 seconds. Operation step 3 must be carried out within this time.

3 Press the Accept phone call button first (S111s3) and keep pressed, then within a second also press and keep pressed the OK button (S110s6).
Keep both buttons pressed for approx. 5 seconds (S111s3, S110s6): The workshop menu with the indexes "Vehicle data", "Dynamometer test" (A1p13) and "ASSYST PLUS" appears in the multifunction display.

4 Press the scroll forward button (S110s1) repeatedly until "ASSYST PLUS" is stored with the high lighter and confirm selection with the OK button (S110s6).
The indexes "Service data" and "Full service" (A1p13) appear in the multifunction display.

5 Confirm selection "Service data" with OK button (S110s6).
The workshop code (e.g. 20) and the service code (e.g. <>) appear in the multifunction display (A1p13)D0FA1.

6 Note the workshop code and service code.
The codes are required for dynamic maintenance (ASSYST PLUS) in the Workshop Information System (WIS).

7 If necessary, press the scroll forward button (S110s1) and note the remaining time and remaining distance.
8 Press the "Back" button (S110s4) repeatedly until (A1p13) the standard display (kilometer counter) appears in the multifunction display.
9 Turn the key in the ignition lock into position "0".
