During trips within the digitized map area, the following information, calculated by the navigation processor of the radio and navigation unit (A2/56), is available to the user:
^ Current position and route of the vehicle
^ List with roads and turns for the planned route
^ Distance from the destination and estimated time of arrival
^ Direction recommendation
^ Arrow indicating the driving direction
^ Name of the road currently being traveled along
^ Name of the road to turn into
^ Distance to next turn-off

The CD type is detected automatically. The voice output supplements the actual navigation.
