AZ82.70-P-0005-02QQQ Retrofit Hands-Free System Wiring Harness
- with CODE (273) Provision for D-network handy telephone
- with CODE (354) CTEL antenna (GSM 900 and 1800 MHz)


1 Expose VDA connector for telephone handset (A34) and portable cellular telephone separation point (X39/37) in radio shaft.
2 Connect antenna for telephone handset (A34) to antenna line of PSC adapter.

Use an antenna adapter if necessary (depending on vehicle version).







3 Attach VDA connecting cable (5) to hands-free system interface box (3).







4 Route connecting cable (5) from hands-free system interface box (3) to exposed CTEL separation point (X39/37) in radio recess as shown in figure and connect.

Fasten cable in place using adhesive felt.







5 Prepare CAN wiring harness (4) as shown in figure.

Component Identification:

6 Attach CAN wiring harness (4) to ICANI box (2) and connect ICANI connector (7) to free coupling on hands-free system interface box (3).
7 Route CAN wiring harness (4) to radio and fix in position with adhesive felt.







8 Detach standard coupling chamber C from radio (A2) and attach to plug (11) of CAN wiring harness (4). Attach radio intermediate coupling (A2) of CAN wiring harness (4) to radio.







9.1 Only for vehicles without microphone preinstallation
- Expose present hands-free system microphone separation point (B25) behind overhead control panel and connect microphone (6).
- Glue microphone (6) to mirror base using double sided adhesive tape as shown in figure.

Align microphone so that pickup opening points towards driver.
