CD player mode
The CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) can be fitted with a maximum of 6 CDs. The CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) informs the radio (A2) after reconnection or a magazine change via the magazine slot. If a selected CD is not available, the display "CDxNOCD" appears for 4 seconds. Meanwhile the CD currently loaded continues to be played. After the last track of a CD has been played, the next possible CD in the magazine is automatically selected and played starting with track one. The system automatically changes over to radio mode if the magazine is removed during CD mode.

Title skip
Skipping to the next track is triggered by pressing a button. When the track has been played for up to 10 seconds, the CD player skips back to the beginning. When a track is skipped the new track number is shown immediately on the display.

If the last track is reached, the CD player changes to the first track. A change from the first to the last track is also an analog sequence.

CD music search
The audible fast forward or rewind (music search) is terminated after the last piece of music on the CD. No change is made to the first piece or to the next CD. The same applies to reaching the start of the first middle section of music with rewind.

Pause function
The CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) is transferred from play mode into the pause mode by the following events:
^ Incoming or outgoing telephone calls via D2B
^ Telephone muting
