GF91.29-P-2004Q Store Seat Position, Function
- with CODE (275c) Electrically adjustable driver seat, steering column and exterior mirrors with memory.
- with CODE (242b) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory.
Component Identification:
Function conditions
^ Valid memory block numbers (driver-side) and
^ circuit 15c On and respective vehicle door open or
^ terminal 15R ON or
^ Circuit 15 ON
For the driver seat the set seat positions can be stored via the memory location 1, 2, 3 switch (S91/2s14) and the memory switch (S91/2s9). Whether the storage is to be key-related or not can be activated or deactivated in the instrument cluster. For each transmitter key up to 3 seat positions can be stored.
Storage of the front passenger seat positions is not key related. The memory switch locations 1, 2, 3 (S92/2s14) and the memory switch (S92/2s9) can be used to store up to a total of 3 seat positions for the front passenger seat.
There are two key actuation options available for the storing of positions:
1. Press respective memory switch (S91/2s9 or S92/2s9), hold pressed and then actuate the corresponding position key on the memory location 1, 2, 3 switch (S91/2s14 or S92/2s14).
2. Press and release memory switch (S91/2s9 or S92/2s9). Ultimately, press the corresponding position key on the memory location 1, 2, 3 switch (S91/2s14 or S92/2s14) within 3 s.
The seat positions of the driver's seat are stored in the front seat adjustment control module with memory and driver-side easy entry (N32/1). The seat positions of the front passenger's seat are stored in the front seat adjustment control module with memory and front passenger seat easy entry (N32/2).
For circuit 15c On or circuit 15c Off the seat position can be stored with an opened door. The information, as to whether the door open or closed, is sent by the left door contact switch (S17/3) or the right door contact switch (S17/4) to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2), which forwards the information via the CAN Class B.
