Function
The driving position is always stored,
^ with the transition from circuit 15 to circuit 15R,
^ upon receipt of a request to store a memory position (memory switch (S91/2s9)),
^ upon receipt of a request to adjust a memory position (storage space switch 1, 2, 3 (S91/2s14)) even if the easy entry/exit function is switched off.

Function prerequisites for storage via memory
^ Circuit 15 "ON" or
^ Driver door open.

Storage via memory
Before storage, place the steering column in the desired position using the steering column adjustment switch (S59).

Storage is to be performed as follows:
^ Select the memory position by rotating the storage space switch 1, 2, 3 (S91/2s14).
^ Press the memory switch (S91/2s9) for t ≥40ms and release again.
^ Within t ≤3s press the storage space switch 1, 2, 3 (S91/2s14).

The positions of the steering column are stored in the front seat adjustment control module with memory and easy entry, driver (N32/1).
