AN82.61-P-0001-06TXA Retrofit MOST Fiber Optical Cable Wiring Harness
AN82.61-P-0001-06TXA Retrofit MOST Fiber Optical Cable Wiring Harness
Component Identifications:
1 Unclip cover (23) from fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50) in direction of arrow.
2 Remove dust excluder (24) from optical conductor connector sleeve (Z35/11) (dust excluder (24) is no longer needed).
3 Insert optical conductor connector sleeve (Z35/11) into fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50).
Optical conductor connector sleeve (Z35/11) must be heard to latch in.
4 Clip cover (23) onto fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50).
Component Identification:
Modification in left rear wheelhouse
5 Insert black, 4-pin connector (6) from the Auto Pilot System wiring harness (1) into black, 6-pin connector housing (8) from the MOST fiber optical cable wiring harness (7).
Connector housing (8) is from the audio gateway control unit (N93/1). There is an arrow on the side of the black, 4-pin connector (6). This corresponds to the direction of installation in the connector housing (8).
Black, 6-pin connector (8) is later connected to the audio gateway control unit (N93/1).
6 Secure MOST fiber optical cable wiring harness (7) as per diagram on the left wheelhouse to existing wiring.
The green color coding on the MOST fiber optical cable wiring harness (7) must match the green color coding of the standard wiring harnesses (see arrow).
7 Continue routing MOST fiber optical cable wiring harness (7) in the left cable duct to the left front footwell.
