Function sequence for door handle control point
When the corresponding button on the door handle is pressed, the corresponding door handle switch is actuated and the keyless go system (KG) is woken up.
Parallel to this, a wake-up signal is transmitted to the transmitter key.
Location finding signals are transmitted by the antennas and the antennas integrated in the keyless go control modules.
The position of the transmitter key is transmitted to the rear module keyless go control module via the left antenna amplifier module.
The rear module keyless go control module checks for a valid transmitter key.
The transmitter key transmits the access authorization code to the EIS control module via KG bus.

If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control module transmits the command "Close CL" to the CAN-B bus. If applicable, circuit 15R is switched off and the steering is locked.

Errors occurring when locking are indicated by the instrument cluster (A1).

Function sequence via trunk lid Keyless Go buttonWhen the trunk lid keyless go button is pressed the keyless go system (KG) is woken up The further function sequence is the same as for the door handle control point

Convenience closing
When the corresponding door handle switch is actuated for a longer period of time the command "Convenience closing" is transmitted to the CAN-B bus.
The windows and the tilting/sliding roof (SR) (with code (414) electric glass tilting/sliding roof) are closed, if necessary.

The convenience closing function is interrupted by pulling the door handle The windows and the tilting/sliding roof are actuated in the opening direction for approx. 2 s.
